Diarrhoea

A teacher and year head from Sussex

"I think I could have got into the Guiness book of records for diarrhoea. I was really in trouble, passing explosive frothy motions without any warning. My embarrassment was acute as I worked as a school teacher often having to run off and leave the children. Despite being given the medical "all clear" I was convinced I was terminally ill. My doctor just said it was due to IBS and I’d have to learn to live with it, which was difficult as it was ruining both my work and my social life, especially as I had PMS too which drove me to sweat like a trouper! My mum heard about the WNAS. I didn’t need any persuading to make an appointment. Maryon Stewart gave me what seemed like a 5,000 mile service and a programme to follow. Within 2 months my symptoms were under control and my 6 months I had no diarrhoea whatsoever, no IBS, no PMS and no swearing! I’m well, relaxed and happy and have had a lovely baby daughter since".
